You can close your account and have its content removed. Deletion is permanent, so it's worth taking a copy of anything you want to keep first.

If you'd like a copy, export your data as JSON from Settings before you start. Once deleted, it's gone.

After deletion your data can't be recovered — which is the point. Nothing lingers.
Deletion can't be undone. If you only want to stop paying, cancel your subscription instead — that keeps your account and everything in it.
