What happens when your trial ends

Nothing is deleted. The app locks until you subscribe, and your entries are waiting when you do.

2 min readUpdated Aug 2026

When your 14-day trial runs out and you have not subscribed, the app stops opening and asks you to choose a plan. Your data is not affected by any of that. This is a common worry, so to be clear about it:

  • Everything you created is still there — tasks, notes, journal entries, finances, all of it.
  • It is kept in your account, not thrown away after a grace period. There is no deletion clock.
  • Subscribe later — next week or next year — and it is all exactly where you left it.
  • If you would rather have your own copy first, ask us and we will export your data for you.
Want a copy in hand? Export your data as JSON while your trial is still running — it takes a second. Once the trial ends the app is locked, so email support@plannr.do and we will send you an export.

The trial ending is a lock on the door, not a bin. Nothing you wrote is at risk either way.
