Build a grocery list from your meal plan

Plan the week's meals and let Plannr.do roll every ingredient into one checkable list.

3 min readUpdated Aug 2026

Meal planning usually means a recipe in one place and a shopping list scrawled somewhere else. Plannr.do connects the two: plan meals, and the ingredients become a grocery list in Tasks.

  1. 1
    Save your recipes

Add recipes to Meals with their ingredients.

  2. 2
    Drop them on the week

Place recipes onto the weekly meal plan for the days you'll cook them.

  3. 3
    Generate the list

Plannr.do aggregates every ingredient across the week into a single grocery list — combining duplicates — and sends it to Tasks.

  4. 4
    Shop and tick off

Check items off in Tasks as you go. It's just a task list, so it works like the rest of your day.

Because the list lands in Tasks, you can add it to a shopping @context and it'll sit with your other errands.
