Make subscriptions post to Finance

Add a recurring subscription once and let it post itself to your ledger on every billing date.

2 min readUpdated Aug 2026

Recurring bills are easy to forget and annoying to log. Add each one as a subscription and Plannr.do keeps your Finance ledger accurate for you.

  1. 1
    Add the subscription

In Subscriptions, add a new one with its name, cost and billing date (and whether it's monthly or yearly).

  2. 2
    Let it post automatically

On each billing date, Plannr.do posts a matching transaction to Finance and rolls the next billing date forward.

  3. 3
    Watch for renewals

Subscriptions renewing soon are flagged, so nothing surprises you — and cancelled ones stop posting.

This keeps your cash-flow forecast realistic: because recurring costs post themselves, your Finance projections already account for them.
